As we're all aware, we've had just a bit of a tough time this year. Chances are that you've been juggling a lot of things for a long time. Your plans have changed time after time after time and it's pretty hard to plan for much of anything. In light of all this, a lot of our old routines and habits have had to be put on the back burner for a while now.
Our lives have changed. And when our lives change, it's normal for our bodies to change as well. If you've gained several pounds during this crazy year, please know that it's fine. It's normal. You're totally fine. You're more than fine--you're doing your absolute best with so many things. You're a hero!
You are enough, just like you are. Nothing about you and your worth is defined by a number. So please, please let yourself off the hook about this. If your pants don't fit, just buy new ones. Wear leggings or a comfy dress. Maybe get an awesome pair of new shoes because you're an awesome lady. But DO NOT punish yourself. Don't be miserable in too tight jeans. Don't let negative thoughts creep in. Don't skip the holiday treats. Don't spend this time of the year (or any other time of the year) beating yourself up.
Have all the grace for yourself, sister. You are a leggings wearing superstar.
