After the week (year) we've had, I sure do wish I was on this beach today. But I'm not and I'm guessing you're not either. This year has challenged me to find peace right where I am instead of waiting for my circumstances to line up. Because life in 2020 is nothing like a trip to the beach and that's for sure:)
That is why I was so pleased when Soulspace Christian Meditation app reached out to me a few weeks ago and offered me a premium subscription. Life lately has led so many of us towards anxious and racing thoughts. Soulspace offers the chance to take your focus off fear and stress and instead fill your mind with truths about God's peace, presence, and love using short, guided meditations (like a short, calming devotional set to soothing music).
With Soulspace you get free daily mediations, while the premium subscription unlocks themed mediations in areas like anxiety, peace, love, rest, and more. There are also several mediations for falling asleep and for children.
I've especially enjoyed using Soulspace before falling asleep each night. Many of us put a lot of effort into creating a peaceful morning routine, but a peaceful evening routine is just as important. There have been times when I've struggled with falling asleep at night, and anyone who has had this experience can relate to being willing to try just about anything to settle their racing mind at bedtime. I've truly enjoyed ended my day by using Soulspace.
As a therapist, I've gotten a first hand look at the physical, mental, and emotional effects that 2020 has had on so many of us. After the year we've had, I know we could all use a bit of peace for our minds and rest for our souls and I think Soulspace is an excellent and practical resource for practicing mindfulness, stillness, and rest in a Christ focused way. I've used it for several weeks and can't recommend it enough!
I'm so pleased to join with Soulspace on Instagram to offer one follower a free premium subscription. See my post here to enter!
I hope you enjoy Soulspace Christian Mediation app! I hope it helps you find a little peace right where you are today:)
