Dear High School Student, you don't have to have chosen a college major yet. It's ok if you don't have this figured out.
Dear College Student, you don't have to know exactly what you're doing after graduation. It's ok if you don't have this figured out.
Dear Grown Woman, you don't have to know if/when you'll get married, if/when you'll have kids, if/when you'll have more kids, if your house if your "forever home", or if you see yourself staying in your current job "forever". It's ok (and normal) to not have this all figured out.
Dear Everyone, you don't have to have an exact and official opinion on every single issue and incident in the world. It's ok to not have the whole world figured out (and Lord help us if we think we do).
It's ok not to have everything figured out. In fact, it's a normal part of learning and growing. The world wants us to rush this stuff, but it seems to me like a lot of the best decisions come out of resting in the not knowing for a while and a lot of the worst decisions come from trying to meet some sort of expectation.
So please don't let the world hurry you along. And give yourself others and grace in the not knowing.
